Well, we’re basically live but there are still a few tweaks to the finished product yet. Still, I’m super excited to see the final shape the new site is taking. It’s been about 2 months now – way longer than I’d originally planned – but I’m happy with the development. This is one of the keys of working on a project with a virtual assistant who is thousands of miles away. You must have patience. You’re not in the same room with them so there’s often an inherent communication barrier, even within different forms of the same language (American English vs. Indian English). They also might be working while you’re sleeping and vice versa, unavoidably stretching the timeline of project benchmarks. The good ones will offer to connect with you on Skype for enhanced communication, but even this can often be lacking.
Regardless, I think the site will be good to go in a few more days. It will be interesting to see how it’s received by others in the Hawaii real estate industry and those in the general public. Perhaps a poll of some sort could be warranted…..
