Aloha, friends. I want to tell you about two homeowners that I’ve helped this month alone, explaining exactly how Big Rock Investments HELPS HOMEOWNERS FIND SOLUTIONS (some details have been changed for privacy issues).

Homeowner #1. Let’s call him Peter. Peter lives in a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom in Pearl City and runs his own business. But Peter also owns a home in Kapolei which he currently rents out; his mother-in-law also lives in a separate unit of the same house. Pete is happy because he has some equity in the house and is able to walk away with over $100,000 cash in his pocket to help with the move. He also saved 6% commission by selling directly to Big Rock Investments instead of through a realtor — this amounted to about a $24,000 savings! Homeowner #2. Let’s call this homeowner Dana. Dana owns a 3 bed / 1.5 bath home free & clear in Ewa Beach but it’s in really bad shape – it needs a completely remodel inside and out and extensive work elsewhere on the grounds. She lives on the North Shore and unfortunately rented it out to some less than honorable folks who trashed the property. Dana is a savvy investor and really wants to get some cash for this property so she can buy another house elsewhere. She knows that the only people who would buy it in its current shape are rehabbers, contractors or investors with vision. She really doesn’t know what to do.

I contacted Dana, listened to her objectives and needs and we came to terms on a contract that will give her what she wants: a cash buyout in less than 30 days. Again, she’ll be saving about $23,000 in realtor fees with no endless listing on the MLS. Plus, she won’t have to deal with bad tenants or a falling apart property anymore. She can go focus on her less stressful properties elsewhere on the island. Dana is all smiles now. 🙂
